Over on the Ultima Dragons Facebook group, Ideal Dragon has posted a small update concerning Ultima 8: Exult. How small? By his own admission, “very small”:

This is a small update, very small. But we will eventually be hoping to translate Ultima 8: Exult into any languages we can get people to assist translating to, that our build of Exult does support.

It won’t be for a good long time, but would anybody be willing to volunteer to translate U8 Exult into their language well down the line?

“A good long time” is, of course, a very relative term where Ultima fan projects are concerned. Still, it’s nice to see the project thinking that far ahead, and at least one volunteer has already stepped up: SirJohn, who has done German translations for Ultima 6 and Ultima 7, offered to handle the German version.

So if you’re fluent in something other than English, and in Exult’s supported languages, hit up Ideal Dragon’s post in the Ultima Dragons Facebook group, or drop him a line on the project-specific channel he frequents on the Ultima Dragons Discord server.
