As was mentioned previously, Nox Archaist — though built for the Apple ][ — was released for Windows and OS X with an emulator wrapped around it. For end users, it would be a seamless, one-click launch; the emulator would launch behind the scenes and queue up the game.

Well, this helpful little feature has now enabled 6502 Workshop to release Nox Archaist on Steam, which gives it the distinction of being the first (and only) Apple ][ game released on said storefront.

The Nox Archaist soundtrack is likewise available for purchase, either as a standalone item or bundled with the game proper.
