“Nox Archaist” Released

6502 Workshop were more than pleased, over the weekend, to announce the release of their long-in-development 8-bit RPG, Nox Archaist:

We are excited to announce that Nox Archaist has been released!

Backers of the game should have received an email with a link to the Digital Download version of the game. If you did not receive the email, please check your spam folder and, for Gmail users, the “Promotional” tab.

Physical rewards have begun to ship for backers who selected option2 on the survey we sent last month. We estimate 2-7 days for backers in the United States to receive their physical rewards, and 3-8 weeks for backers in all other countries. 2020 has delivered some unique challenges for shipping carriers and there is a chance a small number of shipments will see longer transit times.

You will receive an email from pirateship.com when your rewards ship.

It has been a long journey and this milestone is very exciting for us and we hope for you as well.

And, the journey is not over! We look forward to interacting with you as you play Nox Archaist and invite you to join the backer community Discord.

By the way, if you were waiting until now to purchase a boxed copy of the game from the Nox Archaist online store, you’ll have to wait a little bit; the first run of physical copies has already sold out. But, orders submitted now will inform just how large of a second production run 6502 Workshop will have to order!

That said, the digital edition is still readily available, so if you want to nab yourself a copy of the game today, you can definitely still do so!

Congratulations to 6502 Workshop and to everyone who worked to make Nox Archaist a reality; it’s great to see what began as a passion project finally come to fruition as a full-fledged — and, by all accounts, excellent — retro RPG.

Thanks for sharing the news! While boxed sets have sold out, and are now a preorder for the 2nd run, the Digital Edition is still available.

I feel so dumb for not ordering earlier. Rectifying now!
