Shattered Moon has made a few improvements to Classic Ultima Online, his multiplayer game made in the style of Ultima 4. Notably, he has implemented Ultima-like merchants in the game, and has made a few UI changes as well.
Former Lazarus project leader Ian Fraizer and his team at Big Huge Games have hidden a rather subtle — but quite excellent — homage to the Ultima character classes in the system of “destinies” (class-like character specializations) which they’ve devised for their upcoming RPG, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
