Nintendo Life is reporting that, according to OtherSide Entertainment and 505 Games, Underworld Ascendant will be released on the Nintendo Switch:

The crowdfunded spiritual successor to the critically-acclaimed Ultima Underworld series is coming to Switch, it has been revealed.

OtherSide Entertainment – the studio co-founded by Paul Neurath (Ultima Underworld, Thief) and Warren Spector (Deus Ex, Epic Mickey) – is bringing Underworld Ascendant to Nintendo’s console in conjunction with publisher 505 Games.

The PC version launches in November, with console editions coming next year.

So that’s rather exciting news, for those of you who have a Switch. It’s good to see Underworld making the jump to consoles as well; hopefully, that will net it significantly more players, and add to its success.
