The Savage Empire Remake: Myrmidex and Sakkhra Artwork
Another update from The Savage Empire Remake Facebook page:
It will a little while before I show off the new terrain (I am working on something with the mountains, more on that soon!).
I also work on other stuff in between & I know that some of you would like to see some progress. These two sprites were drawn over the past couple of days. I have scaled them up so they can better be seen.

Looks like he isn’t quite ready to show off that new terrain he has been working on, but I’m really digging those sprites. Can’t wait to see them animated.

HolyMoley. That’s a freaky Myrmidex, not to mention HUGE – that is if it’s to scale with the Sakkhra (as I think the pixel size indicates). Unless that’s the queen, this is a departure from the original, though not one I mind; imagine being swarmed by these monsters in the same numbers they usually hunt in, as if they weren’t scary enough.
