Whilst perusing the StatCounter logs, I noticed that I was getting a few inbound links from another Ultima-themed blog — actually, an Ultima Online-themed blog — called UO Journal.

And lo! It turns out that on their History of Ultima page, they link to the brief Ultima synopsis that has graced the site for…oh, gravy, years now. I guess I should get my butt in gear and replace the images, now that I’ve deactivated Coppermine integration on the site!

Also, their advice is very sound, I think:

I think the best way [to learn the history of Ultima] is to just play the original games. It will give you a lot more meaning. It’s highly recommended that you at least start at Ultima IV, if you are unable to start from I.
