A Forgotten World Christmas gift!

The tireless geniuses at Forgotten World have done it again, just in time for Christmas. They have released a new patch that fully implements Mariah and Janna in their respective towns (once the shrines are cleansed, of course).

You can download the new patch — which the team call version 1.19G — at the project entry.

There’s more news than just this, of course; the team have some incredible changes planned, and are even on the cusp of figuring out NPC scheduling. But you’ll have to read up about it at the Forgotten World website.

Merry Christmas!

Just a note, for Mariah and Jaana to appear, you must start the game from the beginning.

That’s well, just awesome! I can’t wait to see how far you’ll go with this!

Ah-ha, fixed the other Minoc music bug.

Okay, I’ve updated both of the patches (1.19f-Fix1, 1.19G) with a new triggers.flx file that fixes the remaining issues with the Minoc music bug.

You can install the updated older music fix if you don’t want the companion fix. The updated 1.19G patch has all of the music fixes, so it would definitely be the one to download.

The changes between the initial release and updated 1.19G patch is one file that has no impact on savegames, so you can install the updated 1.19G patch over the first release 1.19G without having to start over a second time.

Any questions about the patchs, just reply in the comments section or Forgotten World Forum (the one at the Titans of Ether forum).
