The snapshots for Exult, both the OS X and WIndows versions, have been updated. HQ4X scaler support has been added. The Android port snapshot has also been updated, and has been added as a download to the project entry.
Courtesy of Bill Randolph and Joe Garrity of the Origin Muesum, Ultima Aiera is pleased to present a series of design documents for Ultima 7, covering areas such as conversation syntax, function design, and Origin’s in-house map editor.
I have updated Ultima Aiera’s copies of the snapshot downloads for Pentagram and xu4, both because they were out of date anyway and because of the recent SDL fixes for the OS X versions.
The latest version of Exult (1.49) has been proted to Haiku, an open-source operating system inspired by BeOS.
Jaesun999 has begun recording in-game music from various Ultima titles as played on an original (and very real — not emulated!) Roland MT-32. He has posted his results so far in a short YouTube playlist.
Wizardry Dragon pointed out that Aiera was not currently hosting the downloads for the alpha release of The Feudal Lands. This has been rectified.
Team Return are looking for someone who can craft some very familiar-looking, Ultima-esque interface elements for use when opening chests and searching bodies in the game.
