Downloads for The Ultima 6 Project’s entry here at the Codex have been restored. And Malignant Manor’s mods for the remake are also available.
Nuvie developer Malignant Manor played through Ultima V: Lazarus and the Ultima 6 Project, and made a few mods for them as well.
It is now possible to use Nuvie to export maps from Ultima 6 (and, I assume, Martian Dreams and Savage Empire) to the Tiled Map Editor’s TMX format.
In which we look at the various Ultima fan projects that have been active, even if only briefly, in 2014, and note the progress that these have made.
The Nuvie team have been hard at work as 2015 dawns. They’ve even restored the proper Ultima 6 endgame music to the engine.
The Nuvie team have added a new conversation gump to the engine, which makes conversations in Ultima 6, Martian Dreams, and Savage Empire much easier to follow.
