“Ultima 5 Redux”: Working on Cutscene Maps

Brad Hannah has posted a short progress update for Ultima 5 Redux on the Ultima Dragons Facebook Group, in which he discusses his work on implementing Ultima 5’s cutscenes:

It’s been a hot while – but getting back into the swing of things. Thought I would share somewhat of a breakthrough. I am finally reading in cutscene maps. I am almost done loading in the introduction maps too.

This has long been on the to do list. Reading the “scripts” on the otherhand seems to be another challenge all together!

This project continues to impress; Ultima 5 never looked so good.
