Check Out Dominus Dragon’s Re-Creations of “Ultima” Characters Using “Hero Forge”

Hero Forge, if you aren’t familiar with it, is an online tool for creating 3D models of tabletop gaming miniatures. Once you’ve set the character up with a look, outfit, and kit of equipment to your liking, you can order either the miniature itself (in plastic or bronze, unpainted or pre-coloured) or a downloadable blueprint to upload to your 3D printer.

Naturally, a while ago, someone decided to have a go at re-creating the Eight Companions of the Avatar using Hero Forge, and the results were pretty good. However, in the intervening two years, Hero Forge has seen some significant updates, enough that Dominus Dragon felt it was time to produce an updated set of images. And while he was at it, he also re-created the Stranger/Avatar as depicted on the box art (or in-game) from various Ultima games.

You can check out Hero Forge for free; if you manage to create any other Ultima-inspired models as you do, feel free to let us know! And if you want to check out Dominus’ creations directly, here are direct links to those:
