Requiescat in Pacem: Robert J. Deutsch Jr. (“Dr. Dungeon”)
Sad news! It would appear that Dr. Dungeon — known to others as Robert J. Deutsch Jr., and to us here as the developer of the Ultizurk series of games — passed away earlier this year.
Robert J. Deutsch, Jr. 63, of Allentown, passed away March 30, 2021 in his home. He was the husband of Christine (Adelmann) Deutsch. They were married for 24 years last July 21st. Robert last worked as a detailer for Autolex Dealership, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Agnes (Rodgers) Deutsch and step-son of Georgia S. (Sarantoglou) Deutsch of Allentown. Rob was a truly special person, very kind, considerate, thoughtful, intelligent and pleasant. He appreciated and valued family and will be missed deeply. He studied the philosophy and practices of Martial Arts, enjoyed the computer and programming and his time spent at LA Fitness.
Dr. Dungeon was kind enough to release the first three Ultizurk games in their entirety some years ago, though full versions of the remaining entries in the series are now presumably lost to time; Dr. Dungeon’s website is offline. You can find the games for download at the series’ project entry (linked above); why not fire up DOSBox and check them out — if you haven’t yet done so — in memory of its developer?

I think the available versions of the other three games are already “full” – they did not have limited shareware versions.
As I recall (this is also how it is chronicled on the project entry), when you first rediscovered them, you unearthed the shareware versions of 1 & 2, which Dr. Dungeon later handed over full versions for. He then subsequently released the third game in full, some time thereafter.
