The Dark Unknown: Town of Swainhill Complete
Hot on the heels of yesterday’s update, Goldenflame Dragon has in fact finished — to his present satisfaction, at any rate — work on one of the Act 1 towns in The Dark Unknown:

Reminds me of that old Ultima-like engine from back in the day. Was it actually called the Dragon Engine? or am I remembering wrong? Simple old school goodness is the way to go sometimes.
Even my memory is fuzzy on that one, but yes, I think there’s some similarity there. Broadly speaking, they’re all U5-like.
I remember having a great time with it, whipping up little U5-like adventures and castles and the like. I’ve always liked building more than playing. Been eyeing RPG in a Box for much the same reason. If that ever moves far enough along it could be a great tool, or at the very least, a fun toy.
