Larian Saturdays

We’ve gotten a few early looks at Divinity: Original Sin’s gameplay over the last little while, including this latest video from Larian Studios that shows progress made in the area of world design over the last two months.

Also, Sven Vincke posted a new blog entry in which he discusses Divinity: Dragon Commander and some of the design mistakes he thought they had made with the game, which his team ultimately resolved by…making the game about more than aerial combat. He also goes into some detail about the complicated architecture of the game, and overall it makes for an interesting read, and it makes sense once you read it.
