The Codex of Ultima Wisdom, Updated

Our good friends at the Codex of Ultima Wisdom have had a busy few months since last December. They’ve hit the half-million pageview mark, for one, and even rolled out a fancy new logo:

Sexy!

But more than just numbers and flair, they’ve overhauled many sections of the Codex proper.

Various walkthroughs have been added.

The magic section has been expanded with MANY new spells.

Monster Data has been added for most games.

NPCs of Ultima II, Illustrations, and Ultima Online Spells have seen a lot of love

Further improvements to existing pages.

Dino the Dark Dragon has the complete list of changes made, so if you’re curious and want greater detail about all the changes that have been made, head over to his site and find out.

Thanks, work continues there, but we can always use more help. There are tons of tantalizing tidbits out there that I’m sure have a place on the Codex. Also, there are many pages still in need of expanding, rewriting, cleaning up, and various other bits of love. We still also need lots of walkthroughs still, if anyone wants to contribute. Trust me, the work continues.

And when the new Ultima game thingy comes out, we want to be the best damn wiki devoted to that too!

Or at least get a new sub-domain devoted to it. 🙂

Good database for games indebted to the culture of Ultima. I may use it for my bestiary, armoury or other references. I’d stick to the manuals more, games less, and interpolate the stronger references. Game data could be considered high or low credibility and loosely interwoven with the manuals’ canonical verses.

Awesome work and I love the new logo! I’ve been using this Wiki ever since you moved it here, it’s a fantastic and gigantic repository of great info.
