In case you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard, Bethesda Softworks’ new game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, launched last week. And from the various reviews I’ve seen, it is apparently a damn awesome game.
Todd Howard of Bethesda Softworks discusses his influences and the limitations that game developers face in creating immersive worlds. And yes, he uses Ultima 6 as an example.
