The only way — at present — to run Ultima games on your Apple iDevice is to jailbreak it. For iPad 2 owners, this has been a major obstacle…until today.

As evidenced by recent code commits, several “under the hood” changes have been made to xu4, the cross-platform Ultima 4 engine.
Magelore: Avatars of Alturia, an iOS game still under development, touts itself as being inspired by Ultima.
