Legends of Aria: Overhauled Allegiance System, New PVE Encounters, and Guild Wars

We haven’t looked in on Legends of Aria’s development progress in a while, but based on this latest update email from Citadel Studios, it sounds like things are progressing very well indeed with the game. It’s in Early Access now, and is this week celebrating the launch of what the developers are calling Point Release 6.

Legend’s of Aria Point Release 6 has arrived and it brings with it some significant content additions! This patch features a completely overhauled Allegiance system, new Colossal PvE encounters, the introduction of Guild Wars, a brand new Gardening system, and many more updates, enhancements, and improvements!

Colossals

These new PvE encounters operate like mini-awakenings, and can be located via Colossal maps. To get you started as quickly as possible, we will be activating login rewards on June 8th and 9th – log in to receive precise colossal maps!

New Allegiance System

Our updated Allegiance system adds a third Allegiance, a new ranking system, events, and rewards – including mounts! We have also included a one time Karma Reprieve for Chaotic and Outcast characters to become Innocent again. After reprieve, the character will have the opportunity to work off their “karma debt” – but dropping into negative karma will end the reprieve and revert your karma value to the remainder of your debt.

Guild Wars

The first iteration of Guild Wars is now live, giving rival Guilds the opportunity to engage in consensual PvP. This system allows Guilds to go to war with each other without the fear of guard intervention or karma loss.

You can find out more about Point Release 6 on the Legends of Aria website. You can also get in on the game’s Early Access period — with attendant access to these point releases — thereat.
