Portalarium have added a new page to the Shroud of the Avatar website — a subscription store. Albeit at present, there’s only one purchase option thereat: the Shroud of the Avatar Rewards Program.

The Rewards Program details don’t indicate that access to the game itself come included with the $9 USD monthly subscription, so presumably you would still need to purchase a copy of the game to take advantage of it. It’s also not clear just what percentage of the game’s player base would be interested in this subscription.

That being said, it’s good to see Portalarium introducing ways to monetize Shroud of the Avatar going forward, now that it has been officially released and has closed down many of the other ways in which one would have been able to back its development.
