RPG In a Box: Sample Scene from Ultima 5
If you’ve never heard of RPG In a Box or the Godot Engine, now is a good time to become familiar with both. RPG In a Box is being crafted as an all-in-one toolset for creating voxel-based RPGs, with a generally Minecraft-like aesthetic. Or, I suppose, an early Ultima-like aesthetic, as evidenced by this tweet from the developers:

That’s a pretty keen re-creation of Iolo’s Hut, it must be said.
If you’d like to explore the possibilities of RPG In a Box, you can purchase it via itch.io or Steam; the cost is $20 USD. It’s still in an alpha state, although it is being actively worked on.
The Godot Engine, meanwhile, is free and open source, and well worth checking out in its own right.
