Just in time for tonight’s Spam Spam Spam Humbug recording, Goldenflame Dragon has uploaded the play that he wrote for the Ultima Dragons 25th Anniversary Bash last month, which was performed by himself, J.C. Shakespeare (the voice of the Avatar in Ultima 9), Starr Long, and Richard Garriott. The complete script is available from the Dragon Press; here’s a brief excerpt:

Blackthorn
Sounding a little confused about the role he is playing.
I am Minax, and I have come to destroy this world?

Avatar
I shall defend lovely Akala- I mean Sosaria!

Blackthorn
Actually, this is Earth.

Avatar
Does a double take.
What? I thought this was a fantasy game?

Blackthorn
And you shall need to visit space to defeat me!

Well, ok, I guess I’ve done that before…

Blackthorn
And then we shall NEVER SPEAK OF IT AGAIN! Exits stage left.

I have to agree with Slashing Dragon; I really hope video of this play in its entirety surfaces at some point.
