Normal News Posting Should Resume Now
If you’ve been a regular follower of the site for a while, you no doubt took note of the fact that far less new posts were going up on the Codex over the course of the last month or so. There was a reason for this, which went out in a tweet yesterday:
The Codex will be moving between Web hosts today. As such, access to the site (and to the Ultima Wiki) may be impaired for a few hours.

That’s right: since late October, actually, I’ve slowly been moving the various websites I host to a new hosting provider. Mostly, efforts in this regard consisted of smaller sites, which were both quick to move (migrations could typically be accomplished in an hour or two) and useful as test cases.
Last night, however, was the big one. With considerable assistance from Fenyx, the Codex — as well as the Ultima, Ultima Forever, and Lord of Ultima wikis — all made the transition between hosts, leaving only Underwiki and SotAwiki left to be migrated.
So I’d like to offer two notes of thanks today.
Firstly, a huge thank you to Fenyx, for all of his assistance in carrying out the migration. It would not have gone smoothly absent his involvement. And secondly, I’d like to say thanks to all of you, those who frequent the Codex, for your patience with us during this period.
We should be back to posting news regularly within the next day or so.
