Shroud of the Avatar’s ongoing crowdfunding campaign has, as of a couple days ago, reached another significant milestone: eight million dollars. Here are the extended backer/crowdfunding statistics for the project, as of this writing:

Portalarium seem to be in a really good position here: Shroud of the Avatar’s development has been keeping to a very steady pace for quite a while now, with new content and features being added with each Release. At the same time, the game continues to bring in new funds, also at a fairly steady pace. We’re probably still several months away from an alpha release of Shroud of the Avatar (although I’ll ask Richard and Starr about that this evening), but I (for one) have little doubt that Portalarium will indeed get us to — and past — that point.
