OtherSide Entertainment, to their credit, kept on going with their teaser page even after the Internet figured out just what it was that they were teasing us about. But now that the timer has run down, they are quite excited to tell us that, yes, System Shock 3 is a thing, and that they’ll be developing it.

Also on the page is a link to a survey, from which you can also sign up to receive updates about the project. One of the survey questions concerns VR technology, although I suppose we shouldn’t read too much into that. It could just be to gauge interest, rather than be indicative that they intend to develop the game for virtual reality headsets.
