It took just seven hours for Goldenflame Dragon’s Kickstarter campaign to finance artwork for The Dark Unknown to reach its base goal of $2,000 USD. Goldenflame seems elated, as well he should be, and has even put forth the first stretch goal for the campaign:

Holy cow, people. Somehow, 7 hours in, I am funded. Thank you all so much for your support, it truly blows me away. I’m working on a stretch goals image to put on the project page so we can continue to have something to work for.

The first stretch goal is simple:

$3700- HERBALIST.

This is the “Pay Indi what she’s worth” tier. The base goal for the project was in fact Indi giving me a substantial discount for a package deal. But I prefer to pay artists in full when I can, don’t you? Even if this goal isn’t reached, all of the funds up to it that do not go towards fulfilling backer rewards will go to Indi.

Let’s see if we can get there!

As of this writing, The Dark Unknown has raised exactly $3,500 USD; I’m thinking this first stretch goal will easily be reached.
