Das Tal’s nine-day open world event, essentially a small alpha test of the game’s new MMORPG features, began on Halloween as promised. Here’s the update I received from Fairytale Distillery shortly before the event went live:

Over the last week or so Das Tal’s developers have been making last minute tweaks in preparation for the event, which will be the longest in the game’s history. With brand new ability and crafting systems, as well as a huge amount of new abilities, it is going to be a good look at how Das Tal will play as an MMO.

If you have already grabbed your key, all you need to do is download the game, open it up and create your account. If you don’t yet have a key, you can purchase one of Das Tal’s development supporter packs for instant access, or sign up to the alpha test list to join in an event down the track.
