Nuvie: Now on GitHub
Voyager Dragon isn’t the only Ultima fan project developer to quit Sourceforge in recent weeks, it would seem. Eric Fry has migrated development on Nuvie away from Sourceforge as well (and presumably for the same reasons), and has set up a new home for it at GitHub.
Additionally, he has made a few updates to the project since we last checked in with it:
2015-02-25 Eric Fry
r2006
* Added MD reduced weight values.
* Fixed weight scaling issue with MD can carry obj logic in conversations.
* MD use repaired belt on bare rollers logic.
* MD Added support for pushing wheel barrows.
* Change drill or wheel barrow direction if pushed and blocked.
2015-02-26 Eric Fry
r2007
* Work on Stoker worktype logic. 0x9C, 0x9D, 0x9E
2015-08-24 Eric Fry
* Added CMake build file. (OS X specific at the moment)
* MD Fixed Coker walk frames.
* Fixed some C++11 compile errors.
Okay, so there’s kind of a big gap there between February and August. But between the recent migration and the latest update above, it would seem that Eric and his team have resumed work on their re-creation of the Ultima 6/Savage Empire/Martian Dreams engine.
