Although it isn’t looking like the Das Tal Kickstarter campaign will prove to be a success, Fairytale Distillery still want to celebrate its completion with a bang. To that end, they’ll be opening up Das Tal to all and sundry starting on June 9th:

We’ve decided to turn the last 24 hours of the Kickstarter into a big play session for all of us. Devs, Supporters, Backers and everybody else. Starting at 1 PM UTC / 3 PM CEST / 9 AM EDT / 6 AM PDT on June 9th we’ll open the game server(s) and everybody will be able to create a temporary game account using the following key: free4all.

For this 24 hour session we’ll also have our first draft of the leaderboard system in the game. That means that when the campaign ends we’ll be able to crown the most successful clan in the game for the first time.

And of course we’ll be with you in the game world, streaming our own play sessions. We’ll organize Exile, our dev clan, organize a couple sieges and and do a lot of small-scale PvP as well. I’m looking forward to some good solo PvP fights to show.
