Ananias: Version 1.43 Released; 20,000 Installs on Google Play
Slashing Dragon has had a productive week (or so). He released version 1.42 of Ananias a few days ago, which saw Alchemist characters gain the ability to craft potions and ammunition out of reagents found in the game’s dungeon. This was followed up, several days later, with a test release of version 1.43 of the mobile roguelike, which reworked the starting loadout for Knight characters (and gave them the Block skill), added enemies to dead-end rooms, nerfed the Hunter’s “super bow” bonus, and cut carrying capacity to 25 slots…among other changes.
Version 1.43 has since been fully released, and can of course be played both online, in a web browser, or on an Android device.
And on the Android front, the game has been enjoying a bit more success of late, having just reached the 20,000 installs milestone. As well, the game seems to be garnering generally favourable reviews, and its retention rate isn’t half bad either.
Slash comments thusly on this data:
Now that the game development is nearing completion and with the iOS version coming up, the goal is to increase the user base even more. I’m aiming to reach 50.000 installs on google play within the next three months.
I, for one, look forward to playing Ananias on my iPhone.
Damn, nice work Slashie! I’m green. 🙂
