If you have access to — and follow — the Standup Corner thread on the Shroud of the Avatar forums, you may have noticed a couple of new names appearing in some of the more recent standup reports.

Marissa Bauer was — and possibly still is — hired on as a contract QA tester for Shroud of the Avatar. Prior to taking on that role, she worked as a designer, producer, and programmer for Tavern Tactics, and as a tester for Starlight Inception before that.

The second new member of the team, who only just recently signed on with Portalarium, is Abe Robertson. He’s a level and Unity asset design contractor, it would seem; he owns and operates Novelty Theory LLC, which has released a collection of assets and scripts onto the Unity Asset Store. Solid additions to the team, in other words, who will help improve the technical soundness of the game.
