Ananias Version 1.22 Released
I had meant to report, back at the start of the month, that version 1.20 of Slashland’s Ananias mobile-friendly roguelike had been released, bringing with it a number of interface and balancing adjustments.
More recently, I had also meant to report that version 1.21 of Ananias had been released, bringing with it in-game music (mostly placeholder tracks, but even so…), healing and monster spawning animations, and a few other improvements.
But even more recently than that, Slashland has gone and released version 1.22 of the game, which adds the first original soundtrack piece, and also incorporates a number of other enhancements.
As such, you should totally check this latest version of the game out. And consider supporting — or increasing your support for — Ananias’ Indiegogo campaign, which hasn’t quite reached half of its funding goal, and which will end in 52 hours.
Just played the game for the first time. I must say it’s extremely well-done. Slick, smooth and well-documented. The control scheme, while initially odd, took me about 15 seconds to figure out. Nice work there; keep it up.
