Ananias: Fratermonsters and Indiegogo Details
Slashing Dragon has published an update on his progress on Ananias, showing off the “fratermonsters” (companion creatures, basically) in the game, which are illustrated in the screenshot above:
Hard work continues in the fratermonsters, you can now select your starting companion and make him evolve using magic artifacts; this includes special skills for each evolution.
He also gives a breakdown of the funding he received from Ananias’ Indiegogo campaign, and what costs he has incurred thus far in further developing the game:
- Campaign total: 737 USD
- Indiegogo, paypal, bank and other fees: -135.24 USD
- Contribution for the pixel artist: -201 USD
- Payment for the first two tracks: -120 USD
- iOS developer program provision: -100 USD
- Payment for the game illustration: -50 USD
What’s interesting here, to me, is the mention of an iOS Developer Program registration, which does indeed cost about $100 USD. Rest assured that Ananias will earn a permanent spot on my iPhone should it be released on the App Store!
