The UI overhaul is nice as well.
Hast thou supported the game on Indiegogo yet? Thou shouldst totally do so.
Very nice addition.
As usual I have no money, however I did retweet one of Slashie’s tweets on my kevinfishburne account. Hopefully this game will pick up some steam, as it looks pretty cool.
Thank you Sanctimonia! sharing news about the campaign is a very useful contribution as well! we need more people to get to know about it! 🙂
No problem…I wish you the best of luck. Doing a Kickstarter or Indiegogo is difficult. From everything I’ve read on Gamasutra, etc., the chances of failure are very high (as in most projects do fail). Even tweets from industry vets with tens of thousands of followers typically don’t have the expected result. A campaign going viral is the holy grail…seems when it’s found it’s by accident rather than cleverness.
I’ve seen both established studios and new studios formed by industry veterans with slick campaign pages filled with professional artwork fail and fail hard. So my *free* advice to you is 1) prepare to finish the game, whatever happens, and 2) expect crowdfunding failure and don’t let it get you down. From everything I’ve seen, the only true path to success is to keep working, finish and release games, and slowly build a brand on the back of your previous work.
