The Dark Unknown: Region Names, Map Looks Great
Goldenflame Dragon posted a brief update to The Dark Unknown’s Facebook page this evening:
What I have been working on is naming geographic features/regions on the continent for labels for the digital and cloth map, and it’s an interesting experience. I find myself wondering if I should rename this plain to something with less letters, or creating an elaborate creation myth for the land overall based on some whimsical names for a mountain range and a peninsula.
The map looks great, though. A few more drafts and I’ll be ready to show it off.
Up next: more enhancements to merchants, including a complete selling system, buying from limited stock, and buying spells.
Nice work Goldenflame. The Dark Unknown is but one soldier in the war against the unending flood of crap that assaults our senses daily. Keep it up, as we will win and the pretenders’ corpses will mark a thousand miles of roads into the city of what Ultima was and should be.
