Richard Garriott Hosts Noche de los Muertos At the Explorer’s Club

Richard Garriott will be hosting a Noche de los Muertos (Night of the Dead) event at the New York City headquarters of the Explorer’s Club on November 2nd:

Famed video game developer, entrepreneur and astronaut Richard Garriott de Cayeux MN’98, along with The Explorers Club, invite you to celebrate Dia de los Muertos. On the evening of November 2nd, The Explorers Club historic Headquarters will transform for the most haunting party of the season, where we invite both Members and Guests to join us in real-life game of Clue, meeting famed explorers both living and dead. We need your help to solve a grisly murder, and everyone is a suspect.

Hosted at The Explorers Club historic Headquarters on New York’s Upper East Side, the event will run from 8:00 – 12:00 midnight on Saturday, November 2nd, with VIP pre-event reception running from 7:00 – 8:00pm. The event will feature music, light refreshments, and an open bar. Formal attire suggested.

The event is open to the public, and tickets for those not already members of the Explorer’s Club go for $125; VIP event tickets go for $250.

It’s not a Britannia Manor Halloween party, of course, but it will probably be an entertaining experience even so. If you’re in the New York area, and if you have some cash to spare, it’s a find way to spend a Saturday night!
