Ultima Forever: August 26th Hotfix Seeks to Address Repair Cost
Over on the Ultima Forever forums, notes concerning the hotfix pushed to Ultima Forever this evening have been posted. Rather than a permanent change, this weekend features a modification to the repair amounts for armor and weapons damaged through use. Although there is still some debate going on about the changes, overall they seem positive and should help alleviate the burden of repair for higher-end equipment.
Community manager Gene Makely noted the following in the Hotfix notes:
As discussed previously here on the forums… we’re implementing a trial run this weekend for discounted repair costs for worn gear…
In essence, this means that each pip (individual ‘hit point’ for gear) of damage will cost 1 silver to repair.
Be sure to test these changes out when you get a chance!
