Sanctimonia: Architectural System Developments, New Monthly Report
Kevin Fishburne has been toiling away on the architectural system of his PvE, Ultima-inspired MMORPG, Sanctimonia. The GUI frontend for the game’s architectural (building construction) system saw several refinements at the end of last month:
More complete architectural design GUI: http://t.co/3pb5KyWRyy Progressing rapidly.

Accumulated #progress (one month) in building design: http://t.co/0kYoIRKCoG Doors, windows and flags soon.

He also released several images showing how the GUI elements translated out into in-game object placements:

This too saw additional refinement in the days that followed:
"Think of others; the others think of you" http://t.co/NxAIyE0bZe Some block PWO progress (grading bug-fixes and flooring tiles).

Most recently, he has been working on architectural plan reference buttons which embed within the GUI he has put together:
Is this a spaced invader or a new GUI element? Creating it in GIMP satisfied my OCD. http://t.co/mipMCoEQlz pic.twitter.com/du9BkvgyhM

Changed the architectural plan buttons to be more intuitive and implemented the spaced invader as a guide: http://t.co/6xq9rUHqpd

As well, he released another monthly report, offering greater detail on his recent progress on the project. Much of it concerns the implementation of the architectural GUI and its associated persistent world objects (PWOs), but he has also made many changes and improvements “beneath the surface”.
