Ultima Forever: Soundtrack Sample
The Ultima Forever Facebook page has been updated today, as has the associated Twitter feed, with a link to a sample of the game’s soundtrack.

It is definitely the sort of tune you’d associate with a tavern, not to mention a very clever re-working of Ultima 4’s overland theme. And something about it reminds me of Ultima 7’s soundtrack…just a bit. All in all, fantastic work by (I assume) Nick LaMartina, Mythic’s audio director and composer.
The First Age of Update: Yes! The soundtrack will be available at launch!
It should be noted it’s a remix of Ultima IV’s overland theme.

Very very pretty. Wish they’d tone down that “BUM-BADUM” bass line though, Of course I wish that about almost all new music. Must be an old man thing,.
Very nice. Hope to hear Stones, Greyson’s Tale, and maybe a nod to Castle of Fire on the soundtrack.
The percussion’s a bit intense for what is otherwise a rather mellow theme. I like it though, despite needing per-track EQ to reduce the acoustic ear stabs.
