As a consequence of the recent theme change the site underwent, I had to remove the links to the forum for a spell. bbPress is a decent forum solution that integrates natively (by design!) with WordPress, and it has proven to be both more stable and more secure (against spam) than other forum solutions I have tried out over the years.

But it’s also a rather bare-bones solution, and integrating it into a new theme typically takes a fair bit of time and a goodly chunk of custom CSS. I’m certainly no stranger to the latter, but time is always a scarce commodity for me, so it has taken me until now to get the necessary adjustments to the forum’s layout made.

But: made those changes are, and the forum now once again nestles nicely into the site template. As such, I’ve added the links to the forum back to the top menu, and I invite you all to contribute to (or start) discussions there. There’s even a new forum for discussing cancelled Ultima games!

Oh, and for those of you who visit the site on a mobile device…well, you probably already saw the Tapatalk splash banner. I have added Tapatalk support to the forum, so if you are a user of either the free or paid Tapatalk app, look for the Ultima Codex in the list of forums therein!
