Bethesda Thursdays
A new video about the history and lore behind The Elder Scrolls Online has been released, along with a new trailer. The latter was released to both announce and celebrate the opening of beta signups for the game.
Okay, anyone still here now that I’ve said that? Cool…go and check out this Q&A about the game’s Daggerfall Covenant faction.
If for some bizarre reason you play Skyrim on the PlayStation 3, you’ll be happy (I hope) to know that the missing DLC for the game will be made available to you in February.
There has also been a lot of…fan material released concerning Skyrim over the last little while. This armour set, for example, is just awesome, and this live-action short film really has to be seen to believe. Also, do be sure to check out Peter Hollens & Lindsey Stirling’s rendition of the main theme from Skyrim. That last is a recommendation from Iceblade, and it combines seeveral awesome features including (but not limited to) costumes, gorgeous scenery, a handsome gent and a pretty lady, and excellent music that almost puts the original work to shame.
Oh, and do check out this analysis of the geology of the world of Skyrim. If you want to see how geeking the heck out is done, that’s how.
Finally, as always, the OpenMW project has posted another progress update, telling of both successes and snags in their development process.
