Extra Life Update: Four Days Left

I reached my Extra Life goal today, thanks to donations from a co-worker another donor who has elected to remain anonymous. To both of them, I extend my heartfelt thanks, and I am sure that the people at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton and at all Children’s Miracle Network hospitals are equally grateful.

But even though I’ve hit my goal, the Extra Life team comprised of a small group of fans of Origin Systems’ various games — we call ourselves Vas Mani — is still a few dollars short of its overall fundraising goal.

So, as a reminder, here’s how Extra Life works: the fundraising total of a team is the cumulative total of funds raised by all its members. So, to help Vas Mani achieve its fundraising goal, all you have to do is donate to any of these fine gentlemen:

…or to my campaign. Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids.

Last year, Extra Life raised more than 1.2 million dollars to save kids, but in 2012 our goals, just like the needs of the kids we serve, are much, much higher. And hey…this year, there’s actually a team of Origin Systems fans representing that great developer of yesterdecade on Extra Life. We can’t hope to compete with the likes of Epic Games’ team, sure…but I think we can hit our fundraising goal and show the world that Origin fans can still pull together in memory of that fine studio.

So: donate today!
