BioWare Mondays

Kotaku has an interesting piece up this week, tracing the musical saga of Mass Effect, while Joystiq has a lengthy analysis of what has changed in the Extended Cut endings. Oh, and BioWare released the soundtrack for the Extended Cut for free late last week. You need a BioWare login (your Origin login will work, if you have one) to grab your copy, but…well, you should already have one of those if you were able to play Mass Effect 3.

On the review side, Jeff Vogel of Spiderweb Software penned two articles offering his opinions on the good and the bad of Mass Effect 3. I share his opinion about the lack of vehicles; I too wish that BioWare had opted to tweak and improve vehicle control rather than get rid of them.

BioWare will be at Comic-Con this week, of course; they have announced their lineup of events and panels. Though I suspect the listing is not…shall we say?…complete.

Things are fairly quiet on the Star Wars: The Old Republic front. Another community Q&A has been published, and GamesIndustry sat down with developer James Ohlen for a discussion about various things related to SWTOR…including the (in my opinion) over-hyped free-to-play rumours.

Oh, and the Doctors BioWare (as I call them) have entered into a poker tournament. I follow Ray Muzyka on Twitter; he’s doing…okay.
