As I’m sure all of you can guess, the big news related to CD Projekt Red is the Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. It was released — for PC, at any rate — on GOG.com as a free update to The Witcher 2, and the game itself is on sale at 15% off for…well, at least another week or two. And yes, CD Projekt would like you all to know that while the Enhanced Edition was developed as the console version of The Witcher 2, PC gamers will get all the new content in their version of the game too.

First impressions of the Enhanced Edition, previews of it, and loads of information have been published and/or released. CD Projekt Red have released a trailer that brings new players — those who haven’t played The Witcher — up to speed on the game’s setting and main character. They’ve also released trailers explaining what a Witcher actually is, and a few developer diaries as well.

A full-court marketing press, in other words. And a successful one: the Dark Edition of the Enhanced Edition* has sold out pretty much globally.
