To celebrate the release of Ultima 4 and 5 on Good Old Games today, I figured it might be a good idea to revisit some Ultima 4– and Ultima 5-related musical content that had previously been featured on the site.

And so, courtesy of Goldenflame Dragon of tumbloian.org, here are the soundtracks of Ultima 4 and Ultima 5 as they sound on a Commodore 128. Goldenflame plugged his C128’s sound output into his PC’s sound card and recorded the music in WAV format, then converted it to MP3.

These versions of the games did feature some pretty awesome music. You can download the soundtracks for both games from Aiera; Ultima 4’s from here, and Ultima 5’s from here.
