Why was Darkblade never seen alongside his counterparts?

      Yes and no. The other two advisors’ names are known, but I’m not 100% sure Darkblade’s is.

      He doesn’t Google as well, at any rate.

    The mysterious monk on Serpent Isle? I thought it was revealed that he’s not really Blackthorn.

    I think this might have more to do with the expectations/belief some fans hold of the Bob White Plot and its content.
