Hey look…Ultima 6 textures for Minecraft

I was just randomly Googling for Ultima 6 images when I noticed this:

I am just a sucker for anything to do with Ultima 6.

This is a simple texture pack that only replaces terrain and item textures. The textures are taken directly from the game Ultima 6.

It looks pretty neat! I’ve taken the liberty of adding the current download to this project entry, but I have a feeling it will see some updates in the near future.

    Any idea you have, there’s probably someone else out there with exactly the same idea, eh?

    Wonder how similar it is to mine… I’d imagine not too similar (other than maybe items).

    On a couple of things from that screenshot it shows why I just didn’t directly take textures for things. Doesn’t quite work… I’m sure something could be done with the U7 textures, if you used an increased texture size.

    So, how it plays? This minecraft remakes are just a bunch of freeroaming sandboxes, aren`t they?
