For The King: Last Day on Kickstarter; One More Stretch Goal

ForTheKingTitleA

The For The King Kickstarter campaign has entered its final day. With $126,709 CAD raised (as of this writing), the game will bring in more than triple its base goal to support its development.

With just about 24 hours left in the campaign, we just want to say Thank You. Thank you for your interest, thank you for your support, thank you for your words of encouragement and awesome ideas, and thank you for making For The King possible. We are all Above The Clouds.

There’s still time to get your name entered in our Statue Raffle so keep on tweeting and posting links to the KS page with #ForTheKing! We’re sitting around 50 names right now, those are some great odds for being immortalized as a hero in FTK!

We’ll be sending out more details on what to expect in the coming weeks in our first post Kickstarter update. We’re using BackerKit for order fulfillment, so you’re in good hands!

Although we’ll be sending periodic updates through Kickstarter, the best way to keep up to date on FTK news is to join the FTK newsletter here. Of course we’d love to keep in touch viaFacebook or Twitter as well.

And as promised we’re launching our Public and Backer Forums very shortly. You can sign up to the general forums following the link below. Once the backer forums are operational we’ll give all backers who’ve signed up to the general forums private access to the backer only area. The forum is still under construction (needs some styling love) but you can safely sign up.

Oh, and it would seem that PayPal pledges are now being accepted on the IronOak website; if you’ve been holding off backing For The King because you don’t use Amazon Payments, there’s another option for you.

As well, with over $126,000 raised, another stretch goal has been achieved…leaving just one more to cross off the list:

Congratulations on a successful campaign are in order for the IronOak Games team. They’ve done really well here, and I look forward to playing the fruits of their efforts.
