AvatarsRadio Is Now Live
This is an interesting new thing:
Welcome New Britannians to Avatars Radio – Radio of the Avatars.
This station was created with the love of our community and fellow citizens in Lord British – Richard Garriotts’ new world of Shroud of the Avatar. Our dream desire is to serve and share (simply by airing) communities work through the tesla towers. We have an open welcoming of all submissions from our community. Talented musicians (be it instrumental, vocal, or mixer), poets, designers of station identifications and other sound bytes, or perhaps you have the face and voice for radio and would like to try your turn behind the desk as a DJ? This station shall always welcome the creative works of the community weighed over that of earthly! Please feel free to contact Amber Raine in IRC, the Shroud of the Avatar forums private messages, or email , your submissions are what keep us rocking those tesla towers.
Currently, this new internet radio station for Shroud of the Avatar fans has two DJs, and there isn’t any indication that they are looking to expand upon that crew according to the main page they are looking to being on additional members to the broadcasting team. I haven’t given the station a listen yet, but if you find time to do so, pop back with your impressions. (Or peruse the various positive comments below!)
Also: project entry? I’m honestly not sure whether to set one up.
Actually, there’s a request on the main page looking for DJs! Also, the two they currently have are absolutely amazing. You really should listen!

They are currently recruiting DJ’s. They asked me but I am in my final year of graduate school right now and do not have the time.

And, additionally, it is active 24/7 already, even with ‘just’ two current DJs. And it has been given not only thumbs up, but high praise from the folks at Portalarium. 🙂 It’s a great project and well on the way to being a major cornerstone of the community!
This station is fantastic! I listen to this station all day at work for the DJ’s, the great music, and the SotA updates. They also play SotA community-made original music that is awesome. I wouldn’t be surprised if much of this original music didn’t make it into the game itself. There is the ability to participate if you have the time and talent.
