BioWare Tuesdays

I ran out of time on Monday, and wasn’t able to get around to getting the daily BioWare article online. Thus…Tuesday. Because once again, there hasn’t been much news from Piranha Bytes.

The Mass Effect series

So, the big news this week was that BioWare teased us all with a handful of images of the next Mass Effect game. Not in the traditional sense, mind you; we were instead treated to a series of images of various developers working on the game, which in turn means that the images of the game itself that we can see are partially obscured, and of lowish quality anyhow (photographs of media displayed on a screen being what they are).

That said, we may be treated to the game’s formal announcement at the VGAs taking place next month.

Oh, there’s also this retrospective of the series’ first trilogy, which I…may have linked to before. I honestly can’t remember.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

In addition to some new information about which characters may (or may not) be returning in the latest Dragon Age title, we also were treated to a quite lengthy mobile phone recording of some gameplay footage of Inquisition that was shown off at Digiexpo:

It’s actually fairly decent quality, for something shot on a mobile that was doubtless held aloft over the heads of a crowd of expo attendees.
